Being grateful can go a long way. Truly enjoying things in life come from gratitude. Whenever I feel myself getting down, I try to remember and pray and thank God for all I have. I thank God for my friends, family, my dogs, food, the sunshine, and even the people who I might not be on good terms with or who were only in my life for a short period of time. Being grateful will make you happier in the long run. You will be more humble and learn to love even the simplest thing in life. Which if you think about it makes sense, have you ever not eaten for a while and then finally you eat and the food you are eating is the best food you have ever tasted? You appreciated everything about that food. Just like the food, we can look at life that way. We can appreciate, enjoy and experience all of the beauties this life has to offer.
